Ten years ago we had a vision. We wanted to establish a Christ-centered ministry to men, one that would gather men from across Perth & WA, and through clear, challenging and practical Bible teaching, equip them to be more like Jesus, ready to serve him. Since then we have enjoyed nine excellent conventions with speakers from Australia and overseas. It's our pleasure to invite you to the 10th Perth Men's Convention, 11 September 2010. This year, Simon Manchester will teach us from John 14-16 to be Prepared for the coming days. As Simon puts it, "These chapters explain how Jesus has put everything in place for the long-term but especially the short-term - and the multiple benefits of His Spirit at work in and through us. Be impressed by His wisdom!"
Simon Manchester is the senior minister at St Thomas' Anglican Church North Sydney where he has served for twenty years. He is married to Kathy and they have three children in their mid and late twenties. He was chaplain for the North Sydney Rugby League Bears for seven seasons and also ran the ministry to the North Sydney business community for ten years. He has spoken at various conventions in Australia and in the UK.
May God speak to us through his word, and so use us to glorify his name in our homes, churches, work-places and wherever else he places us!
