This year Judith Nichols will bring us talks from the Psalms.
John Calvin referred to the Psalms as "The Mirror of the Soul". We identify with frustration and complaint, with sleepless nights and guilt but in all there is a wonderful undercurrent of joyful thanksgiving.
Yet the clearest message that comes to us from the Psalms and the basis of our comfort is not about us, but about God who is faithful, sovereign, righteous and merciful. He creates, rules, judges and saves. He is a praiseworthy God.
